Abstract

The concept of a modular autonomous vehicle that can transport large loads is shown in this work, which will enhance the efficiency of industrial parks. The competitiveness of the industrial sector has greatly risen in recent years as a result of market globalization. The movement of goods inside industrial parks takes on a specific relevance in this context. Making use of autonomously guided vehicles is one of the answers.

This is a compact vehicle with reasonable transportation costs and speeds. It was decided to design a driving system that could move the suggested loads. Simulations of the transport with loads, either on the ground or in an industrial park, were used to carry out this design. The Finite Element Method was used to conduct a structural analysis of the vehicle, identifying the points where reinforcement is needed for various load situations. Finally, the necessary adjustments were made, enabling the structure to support the desired loads. The ultimate result was an autonomous vehicle capable of efficiently and safely transporting the required loads.
