Abstract

There are a number of treatments available for the management of diabetes. Everyone is different, and types of diabetes are also different so the treatment will vary depending on the diseases. The treatment of diabetes must be based on an understanding of its pathophysiology (See chapter 3), thus type 1 diabetes mellitus a severe insulin secretion deficit exists and the only treatment t present is the administration of insulin or insulin analogue.
