Getting through updated literature, one may sense the book title concerning Teleost Fish Immunology is being so pauce as compared to that of general and clinical immunology book titles. I came across teleost immunology a decade ago when I had been supervising a Ph.D. student jointly with the fishery department, college of Agriculture University of Basrah /IRAQ. That student had been working onto on teleost fish experimental vaccine and vaccine adjuvant. My personal primordial notes were classified, re-arranged and readited as a book designated as "Concise Teleost Fish Immunology". The backbone of the book was tempting to start from molecules, receptors, cells, cellular, tissues, organs of the fish immune system then to cellular bases of the immune response. Followed by subnormal, abnormal immune responses, immunity to infections and vaccinations. The text is being intended to serve fishery biology and comparative immunology students, fishery biology researchers, and fish healthcare givers serving in commercial fish farmings.
