Infertility is one of the diseases which comes into the picture after marriage. A newly married girl's dreams get shattered when she faces infertility. Suddenly she finds herself in a big turmoil. Society always blames females more than males.
Before marriage, she never realized that her life could become so challenging because of infertility. Our family members, in-laws and society start giving sarcastic comments. So many rituals in families do not allow infertile women to participate. So many patients suffer from domestic violence and physical abuse.
The reason for writing this book was so that readers even non-medical personnel can get the basic idea about infertility. This book is written in very simple language and is easy to understand.
Mr Milad Mohammedzadeh Asl is doing his PhD on infertility and was very excited to write his first book.
In this book historical background of infertility, etiology, and pathogenesis are covered in a systematic manner.
A simple awareness about assisted reproductive technologies is mentioned. All techniques of assisted reproductive technologies e.g. IUI, IVF-ET, and ICSI are mentioned in brief.
Medicolegal aspects in infertility treatment are also mentioned in this book.
Last but not least the importance of timely referral of patients to proper infertility setup is also discussed.
