The book dealt with annotating hypothetical proteins from Glycine max (L.) Merr. proteome using Comparative Screening for identifying novel functional proteins. The study aimed to assign a function to a particular set of protein sequences as well as figure out the role of hypothetical proteins in the metabolic pathways for drug discovery. Annotation of the hypothetical proteins will probably serve as a useful dataset for future Transgenic approaches studies. Hypothetical Proteins may be a valuable treasure trove for modern science now-a-days for its contribution of novel and scientific data.
