Abstract

In this article, the study of Rectangular Microstrip antenna of dimensions 1.01x1.39x 0.159 cm3 loaded with two Gunn diodes has been analyzed. It was observed that on loading the antenna with two Gunn diode which are placed at equal distance from the center of the patch, a wide tuning range is achieved starting from 9.254GHz- 9.134GHz. The attractive feature of varying the bias voltage of diodes from 8 volts to 15 volts, leads to the increase in bandwidth of the proposed antenna. In addition, enhancement of 0.13dB power is exuded by the proposed antenna.
