Prof. Abbas Mohammed

He is a leading researcher in Telecommunications, Signal Processing and Radio Navigation, and received several awards and grants for his research excellence. He has made significant contributions to the fields of wireless communications, high altitude platforms, cooperative and MIMO systems, cognitive radio, and long-range radio navigation. He has been involved in several national and international research projects and collaborations with partners from academia and industry. He is the author of over 230 journal articles, book chapters and conference papers. He is also a coeditor of the book “Self-Organization and Green Applications in Cognitive Radio Networks” which received “Best Contribution Award” from Worldwide Universities Network on Cognitive Communications in the category “New Applications of Cognitive Principles to Communications”. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and a UK Chartered Engineer.
