Abstract

Traditional paper notice boards in colleges are being replaced by advanced electronic notice boards to provide dynamic and real-time updates to students and faculty. This paper presents a novel electronic notice board system utilizing LED scrolling displays, which offer enhanced functionality and efficiency compared to conventional methods. The proposed system features two wirelessly interconnected LED scrolling units. The primary display board communicates with a PC via RF 433 MHz modules, allowing for real-time message transmission through a user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI). The second LED display unit receives updates from the first unit through wireless communication. An integrated Real-Time Clock (RTC) module ensures accurate timekeeping and scheduling, enabling automated bell notifications to signal the end of periods. This setup eliminates the need for manual intervention, streamlining college operations and providing timely updates with minimal effort. This system aims to enhance the efficiency of updating and managing notice boards by eliminating manual efforts and providing real-time updates.
