Prof. Raad Yahya Qassim

He has completed his B.Sc. (1966), M.Sc. (1967) and Ph. D. (1970) in chemical engineering from Battersea Colege of Advanced Technology and Imperial College London, London University. He was a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Nuclear Technology Section, Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College London (1970-1972); Research Engineer, National Nuclear Energy Commission, Brazil (1972-1975). He served as Professor, Departments of Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, and Naval, Ocean, and Coastal Engineering, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1975-present). He did master thesis supervision (110), Doctoral thesis supervision (40), Final Year Undergraduate Project Supervision (40), Conference paper presentation (50). He has published 65 articles in Indexed journals as well as Industrial R&D project consultation (40).
