Abstract

Housing delivery methods are important for achieve good quality levels of construction project. The performance of multifamily-housing construction projects that were actually built according to the delivery method chosen was evaluated. The correlation between the selection criteria developed and the evaluation results was analyzed. The result of this process was the development of selection criteria for delivery methods that is directly related to the performance of multifamily-housing construction projects. The weights were developed based on the execution based housing delivery methods, conventional delivery method and Approach based delivery  methods. This study is aimed at investigating or concert evaluation of housing delivery methods in Indian cities. The objectives were to explore housing construction delivery methods taxonomy at global level and Indian level. From various housing delivery methods, comparative tests were conducted on the selection of the delivery method for construction projects and it was expected that the weights for different housing delivery methods facilitate owners to select delivery methods that accurately meet their needs.
