Abstract

In this article, I bring forward what is known in the "spiritual industry" that it has now become a different take on the chakra system than anyone else in the industry is talking about. This is direct feedback from summit hosts interviewing me amongst many others on this topic, as well as one of the key yogic gurus to bring yoga from India to the West, the first to open the first Holistic Health & Yoga Center in the United States, saying that I have a "caliber of consciousness" that appreciates the depth of this ancient wisdom, whilst able to translate it to a Western audience in a functional way. Please do know that chakras are not a "new age" phenomena; instead they are a deep science, developed from 5k years of ancient wisdom. Every yoga posture is designed to open the prana - or chi - within that chakra, which is why you feel better from a yoga class. Additionally, this article is written with the desire for folks to appreciate that it's not one simple YouTube video, for example, of sound healing for a certain chakra, and then that chakra is set for life. Instead, the chakra column is the most reliable system from which to work within a person's mind, body & spirit system, to both assess the blockage and then be able to clear it with energy medicine, healing the blockage, rather than only increasing the flow, as say acupuncture does.
