Abstract

Transorbital Neuroendoscopic Surgery (TONES) is the technique that provides a coplanar endoscopic surgical pathway for visualization and refined surgical technique via a keyhole approach. It provides access to the intracranial compartment, including the anterior cranial fossa, middle fossa, and lateral cavernous sinus, as well as the contents of the orbit. Various surgical approaches are used for mesial temporal lobe epilepsy generating lesions over time. TONES can be a good minimally invasive cranial surgery technique for the removal of mesial temporal lesions.
