Abstract

These clinical reports discuss the case of partially edentulous patients with Class III skeleton malocclusion, poor chewing function and aesthetic appearance caused by severe anteroposterior dental arch mismatch and loss of occlusal vertical dimension. Functional and aesthetic rehabilitation was carried out using orthognathic surgery followed by prosthetics using dental implants. At the end of the treatment, the patients were successfully rehabilitated, both functionally and aesthetically, through a multidisciplinary approach, including orthognathic surgery and prosthetic treatment using dental implants. Dental implant prosthetic rehabilitation is the method of choice in the complex treatment of patients with skeletal form class III malocclusion and total or partial teeth loss. Dental implantation in such cases provides a complete occlusion efficient masticatory function and significantly reduces the risk of recurrence.
