Prof. Manuel Alberto M. Ferreira

He is an Electrical Engineer and Master in Applied Mathematics from University of Lisbon. He completed his PhD in Quantitative Management Methods and Habilitation in Quantitative Methods at Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and former President of Board of Directors and Vice-President of Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. He is a full Professor Emeritus at Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, former Director of Mathematics Department at ISTA-School of Technology and Architecture, member of Research Centers ISTAR (Integrated Researcher) and BRU (Associate Researcher), former member of Research Center UNIDE (Integrated Investigator). His research interests include Mathematics; Statistics; Stochastic processes-queues and applied probabilities; Game theory; Chaos theory; Bayesian statistics: Application to Forensic identification; Applications in Economics, Management, Business, Marketing, Finance and Social Problems in general. He has published 527 articles in Scientific Journals and Conference Annals, 45 book chapters, 58 books, edited 19 books, and presented 180 papers in International Scientific Conferences. He has 55 articles indexed (plus 31 Preprints) in Scopus, 23 (plus 5 Preprints) in Web of Science,10 in zbMATH, 352 in Google Scholar, 3 (plus 2 Preprints) in DBLP, 80 in Crossref, 16 in CNKI, 32 Preprints in arXiv, and 44 Preprints in EasyChair. He is the editor of Scientific Journals and Conference Annals (381 verified editor records in Web of Science).
