Abstract

In the present paper we establish a coupled fixed point result in partially ordered fuzzy metric spaces by utilizing the control function. We obtain our results for Had\(\check{z}\)i\(\acute{c}\) type t-norm. Fuzzy set theory is one of uncertainty approaches and topological structures are basic tools to construct mathematical models compatible with many real life situation. We also establish two lemmas and deduce a corollary. By an application of the fixed point theorem in fuzzy metric spaces, a corresponding result is obtained in metric spaces. Our work extends some existing results [1, 2, 3].
