Abstract

In this chapter, we formulate and apply differential transform algorithm (DTA) to simulate computational solutions of first order system of linear and nonlinear equations in applied mathematics. Numerical solutions obtained are presented in tabular form and the rate of percentage of pollutants within the three ponds and biomass in European forest were recorded. From computational point of view, the proposed algorithm is fast, reliable and demonstrated a good agreement with analytical solutions of the three models considered.
