Prof. Giovanni Bucci

He was born in Rome in 1958. He received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering in 1985 from the University of L’Aquila (Italy). He was with Selenia Spazio as a designer of automatic test equipment until 1989. From 1989, he has been at the University of L’Aquila as Assistant Professor in Electrical Measurements from the 1989, Associate Professor from 2001 and full professor from 2006. His main scientific interests are related to methods for the characterization of electric and electronic devices and components, the automatic testing and diagnosis of electrical machines, the power measurement under non-sinusoidal conditions, smart sensors, diagnostic systems based on machine learning. In these fields, he has published more than 240 scientific papers in journals, national and international conference proceedings.
