Abstract

The impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the as a whole tourist demand for lodging in Lattakia in 2020 has been the study's main concern. Aims include the following: the analysis of the distribution of tourist demand for lodging in Lattakia from 2010 to 2019. defining the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on changes in tourist demand for lodging in Lattakia in 2020. But the descriptive analytical approach has been applied. The study produced a number of findings, the most significant of which are: Covid-19 has a significant impact on the overall tourist demand for lodging in Lattakia in February and March along with the spread of the infection in Syria and surrounding nations. Because of the pandemic's widespread distribution globally and in Syria, there was a lack of overall tourist demand for accommodations in April. Until a reliable vaccine is developed, it is impossible to predict the overall demand for accommodations from tourists.
