This book is the result of a collaborative effort at the University of Loannina in Northwestern Greece, within the Faculty of Engineering and Materials Science Department. The project was conducted under the scientific guidance of Professors S. Agathopoulos, A. Karatzalis, T. Matikas, and A. Lekatou, with contributions from PhD candidates A. Poulia, D. Moshovas, T. Dalla, and M. Petsios.

The dental clinic trials were carried out by a dedicated team, including Dentist E. Gkogkas (Aurthor), Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon K. Siochos, Nurses M. Tzamoura, P. Kontoudi, and I. Xinogalou, and Dental Technicians G. Paikas and A. Alexiou. The research followed a rigorous in-Vivo, Double-Blind methodology using freshly extracted human third molars. This work was entirely self-financed by the author.

I dedicate this book to my late Professor, Dr. Stavros Papanikolaou, whose invaluable teachings laid the foundation for my clinical practice. He inspired me to focus not merely on practicing medicine but on "becoming and remaining a doctor," emphasizing the humanity and purpose of the profession.
