Abstract

Solitary Rectal Ulcer Syndrome (SRUS) is a rare disorder not malignant and of not fully clarified etiology. The association between rectal prolapse and the (RUS) is becoming clearer. Its diagnosis is based on clinical aspects and histological. Only some patients have symptoms sufficiently disabling enough to require surgery.
