Abstract

Ichthyosis Vulgaris is a rare skin cornification disorder characterized by the accumulation of hyperkeratotic fish-like scales on the skin's surface. It is a mild form of ichthyosis disorder. There is little evidence of oral and dental manifestations in these patients. Because their general manifestations can lead to oral and dental manifestations, dentists must take various precautions when treating these children. Additionally, preventive therapies can be initiated in them at an early stage to limit the acquired dental manifestations.  This case describes various dental considerations and management procedures performed on a 7-year-old female patient with Ichthyosis Vulgaris.
