Abstract

Neurological disorders are major contributors to the disease burden worldwide, although exact data is not available. Systematic and registered data are required for neurological disorders in Indian population to know their risk factors, aetiology, prevalence, and socioeconomic burden of the disease in Indian population. The past few years have seen progresses in therapy in the field of neurological disorders with modest successes in clinical trials.
