He has pursued his Bachelor of Education (Agricultural Science) at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in 2003 and obtained a Master's degree in Technical and Vocational and in 2014. He obtained his Ph.D. from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Technical and Vocational Faculty (FTV), Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia. He has served with UPSI since November 2006 and is an academic with more than 14 years of teaching experience in the field of TVET. He has been invited as a keynote speaker at several international seminars including World TVET Conference 2015 in Sarawak, Well Being Asia Program Nagoya University in 2017, International Conference on TVET in 2018 and TVET Connex 2018 during The 9th Worlddidac Asia, EDUtech Asia 2019 in Singapore, various international and local webinars throughout the 2020-2021 pandemic and the latest EDUtech Malaysia 2022. His best achievements so far are being awarded as the Best Professor in TVET (Educational Leadership) in 2018 by the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management and 251 Fabulous Global Education Leaders 2019 by the World Education Congress 2019. In addition, he was also appointed as a Guest Lecturer for several university (local and international) and at Nagoya University in 2017 as a Visiting Professor.
