Abstract

The purpose of this book is to provide an overview on physiotherapy profession and its role in Indian health care system. The content of this book is divided into three chapters. First chapter provides an insight into the health care practices in India, which includes both public and private sectors and also about the learning objectives of allied and health care professionals. Second chapter emphasis on the physiotherapy profession. This chapter gives a clear understanding about the scope of physiotherapy and its regulating bodies both in the national and world wide. Third chapter provides the reader with knowledge on need of professional ethics in the physiotherapy profession and also about the ethical issues encountered and its management in the clinical practice of physiotherapy.
