Analysing the Attitude of Teachers towards Physics and Paranormal Phenomena

The teachers' attitudes toward parascience, which indicate a misunderstanding of modern physics concepts, are critically analysed. The materialistic ideology has been discussed in relation to quantum mechanics, modern cosmology, and the Goedel theorem. The inconsistencies between physical inquiry methods and parascience are highlighted. Results of the research in the fields of quantum mechanics and cosmology can hardly be reconciled with atheism.
