The density, glass transition temperature, and optical characteristics of tellurium-based glasses including \(WO_3\) , \(B_2O_3\) and \(K_2O\) are studied in this chapter. The density and glass transition temperature of the current gases vary with \(K_2O\) mol % The values of the direct optical band gap, indirect optical band gap energy (E0) , and Urbach energy (\( \Delta E\)) have all been calculated from the optical absorption research. The values of (E0) and (\( \Delta E\)) vary linearly with\(K_2O\) mol %
