Abstract

Background: Spirituality and religion provide love, hope, happiness, and compassion, whereas contemplative practices accelerate mental health recovery through the use of pleasurable electromagnetic vibrations. Transcendence increases the binding of cortisol and serotonin receptors, inhibits norepinephrine, and enhances mental health. Providers of mental health care must respect patient choices, document religious beliefs, provide spiritual resources, and encourage socialization. In mental health treatment, self-determination, autonomy, and discretion should be emphasized. Unquestionably, this therapy has a significant and lasting effect.

Research Goal: Spiritual and religious practices can be utilized to promote mental health.

Methods and Tools: "Contemplative Practice" is an integrated treatment for psychiatric patients and professionals that promotes mental health through spiritual and religious activities. The author designs the treatment with the aid of self-analysis and perhaps a Google Scholar literature search. The author develops a reflective method of scientific inquiry.

Conclusion: Metaphysical reflection and positive psychology have the potential to restore mental health magnificently.
