Abstract
Psychoneuroimmunoendocrinology, which was first described in 1936, is the study of the interactions between the psyche, neural and endocrine functions and immune responses. The aim of psychoneuroimmunoendocrinology is to apply medical knowledge to the treatment of different allergic, immune, autoimmune, rheumatic, neoplastic, endocrine, cardiovascular and dental pathologies, among other disorders. Epigenetic factors and major stresses from different types of stimuli acting through distinct pathways and neurotransmitters are highly involved in altering the psychoneuroimmunoendocrine axis, resulting in the emergence of disease. We transmit the signal SOS: Save our Souls when there is danger at sea. Why the souls, you ask? We are our souls, although the body is perishable, hence they are more significant than the body. The hormone glands in the brain, particularly the pineal gland, are crucial for this. They face significant risks now. We should thus be aware of what we can do to preserve and replenish these priceless organelles. In terms of psychoneuroendocrinology as well as for our spirituality and connection to the soul, our brain glands, particularly the pineal gland, are crucial. Today, there are a lot of issues and dangers that we need to be aware of. We are not at the mercy of this, thanks to the numerous therapies and remedies that are available.
