Abstract

In Inventory management system, product lost their originality after a certain time interval comes under the category of deterioration. We devised a two-warehouse problem for degrading items in a supply chain system, where demand is modeled as a function of stock with an exponent function of time. The practical condition of scarcity also includes inventory shortages that occur regularly in daily life in the supply chain system's inventory problem. To make the model more realistic, the backlog case of a scarcity is also taken into account. Because the impact of inflation cannot be ignored, we've included an inflation element in our model. The appropriate example provides a sensitivity analysis. The graph between various factors is also presented in the analysis section to justify our results.
