Prof. Huan Yu

He is a Professor, doctoral supervisor and high-level overseas talents of Sichuan Province. He is a committee member of Digital Mountain Committee of International Society of Digital Earth, Mountain Resource Committee of China Society of Natural Resources, Soil Remote Sensing and Information Committee of Chinese Soil Society and lifetime member of Chinese Society for Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry. He received a doctorate in geographic information science and mainly focus on the landscape geochemistry study using geospatial techniques, remote sensing for ecological environment, and surveying and mapping science. As the project leader, he presided over 30 projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Science Fund, the National Ecological Environment Changes Monitoring by Remote Sensing, Sichuan Province Postdoctoral Research Project Special Fund and other national and provincial projects. He is the editor in chief of Asian Journal of Geographic Research and deputy editor in chief of International Journal of Earth Science and Geography; He published over 100 papers in the "Journal of Geographic Exploration", "Environmental Geochemistry and Health", "Journal of Hydrology", "Geoderma", "Archives of Agronomy and Soil Science", "Critical Reviews in Environmental Science and Technology", and other peer-reviewed publications indexed by SCI, EI, or CSCD.
