Abstract

Metabolic Syndrome is defined as presence of central obesity with certain other metabolic dysregulation like increased fasting blood glucose, dyslipidemia and hypertension. The criteria of metabolic syndrome are increasing day by day. All the conventional and expanded criteria are cardiovascular risk factors. Decreased level of vitamin D3 due sedentary life style is also a potent cardiovascular risk factor. In this study, we have tried to knot metabolic syndrome with vitamin D3.
