Abstract

The objective of this chapter was to formulate a stable cream with anti-inflammatory and healing properties. The anti-inflammatory 100% biocream has been formulated in the presence of lavender essential oil as an active principle known by these attractive properties. The essential oil was obtained by steam distillation of the aromatic fraction (hydrosol, essential oil) of the fresh aerial part of Lavandula Vera. The average yield of essential oil is 1 to 2%.

Optimizing of the formulation parameters made it possible to have a stable cream. The Bio cream obtained has interesting dermal properties. This cream has reusable anti-infectious and therapeutic qualities. It facilitates dermatological applications and eventually productive research. The Bio cream's quality could be seen by the Physicochemical Analysis, Sensory (With Diagram Properties Evaluation), and Comparative Study with a Reference Cream (Conventional).  The therapeutic effect showed an important efficiency as for the healing of more than the other effects which can be brought by the existence of the beeswax. Neither at least toxicological examination must complete this study.
