He is a pediatrician and infectious disease specialist; professor of biochemistry of the medicine school of campos dos goytacazes, Brazil; completed his phd and master degree in applied microbiology and parasitology (Universidade Federal Fluminense-UFF). He is the member of the pediatric infectious disease committee of the brazilian pediatric society (SBP); public health education specialist; neonatologist and medical coordinator of Sao Joao Batista Hospital, municipality of macae, state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
