Abstract

Cognitive abilities are needed by children in order to develop knowledge. For this development, efforts need to be made to pay attention to learning methods and personality types. Therefore, research was conducted with the aim of knowing the interaction between learning methods and personality types on students' cognitive abilities. To achieve this goal, a study was conducted on early childhood in Serang City with samples of Al-Kautsar Serang Kindergarten and Amalia Walantaka Kindergarten. The study and interrelationships between variables were carried out with a 2x2 factorial design. The results showed that there was a significant interaction between learning methods and personality types on children's cognitive abilities. The existence of these interactions shows that both methods and personality types need to be considered in the learning process, especially for early childhood education.
