Abstract
Ending severe poverty, promoting economic growth, advancing environmental sustainability, and eliminating gender inequality are all considered as benefits of sustainable development. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of a country is linked with sustainable development, and GDP is used as an indicator of a country's economic health as well as a tool to measure a country's standard of living. Businesses must play a role in accelerating sustainable development by contributing to economic growth and employment creation. The idea is that when businesses invest in capital that is used in the manufacturing of commodities, they create jobs, which helps to raise people's living standards by providing them with a source of income. Accelerating Sustainable Development, on the other hand, has an impact on employee empowerment, where workers are paid living wages to satisfy their basic requirements, have job security, the right to join a trade union, and work in a sexual harassment-free workplace.
