In this book the rationale and the clinical indications of minimally invasive decompression of lumbar spine are reviewed. The basic surgical technique to perform the minimally invasive decompression of lumbar spine is also described. Moreover some clinical cases from the Author’s experience are reported. The results of this technique are briefly described. The minimally invasive decompression of lumbar spine is useful in different clinical conditions and is associated with excellent clinical results. It should be always evaluated as an option when approaching patients with lumbar spine degenerative disease.
