Abstract

Splenic lymphoma with circulating villous lymphocytes (SLVL) is an indolent B-cell neoplasm. Because of its rarity, a definitive diagnosis often becomes difficult. Marginal zone lymphoma is the most common type of lymphoma that is associated with HCV infection. In this study we are going to discuss about SLVL with different presentations. Despite being a variant of lymphoma, peripheral lymphadenopathy is not found in such cases. Careful analysis of blood or bone marrow sample by flow-cytometry may be helpful in getting the correct diagnosis.
