Prof. (Dr.) Aysun Turkmen

She is a full Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science & Arts, Giresun University. She has 28 years of professional experience in her area. She has managed a lot of projects. She has supervised a total of 17 (seventeen) postgraduate students to completion. Additionally, she is currently supervising a total of eight (8) postgraduate students. She has published a total of forty-nine (49) scientific papers that include articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and conference proceedings. She has reviewed a lot of papers in peer-reviewed journals (in total; 287). She has a lot of awards of “Excellence in Reviewing” by Science Domain. Her articles were cited in a total of 2564. She is serving as an editorial board member of journals like “Chemical Science International Journal (CSIJ), International Journal of Agricultural Research and Crop Sciences (IJARCS) and Science Journal of Analytical Chemistry (SJAC)”. She is also a Book editorial Team member of Book Publisher International. She ranks in the Webometrics rankings of Turkish scientists in various years. She is also an expert in analytical instruments such as ICP, GS and Atomic Absorption.  Her research interests include environmental pollution and health, analytical chemistry, heavy metals, instrumental analysis, toxicology, and aquatic environments.
