Abstract

The operating principle of tools, the working elements of which are shape-memory metal sensors, is considered. A description of some indicators based on this principle is presented, and examples of their use in environmental monitoring systems are given. The conceptual potential of the scientific approach to the study of natural processes using new tools is shown, in particular, the possibility of establishing a link between weather and cosmic factors.
