Abstract

The asthma is the most common chronic inflammatory disease triggers from smoking, dust mites, toxins, pests, pet dander, pollen, food-borne allergens, molds, exercise and others. This respiratory disorder is being poorly controlled using allergen-specific immunotherapy, chemotherapeutic agents and glucocorticoids which always show serious side effects in the patient’s body. Non-medical treatments being used as complementary treatments include acupuncture, breathing exercises and others in the management of asthma. This communication briefly updates on the revolutionizing inexpensive nanotechnology that promises a ray of hope with great potential and feasibility in treating and controlling asthma.
