Prof. Armando García Chiang

I am a Full Professor at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Iztapalapa Academic Unit where I teach Human Geography. I have with more than fifteen years of experience working with vulnerable groups in Mexico. In the last 11 years I have been responsible for technical Social and Environmental Impact Assessment projects in oil blocks, pipelines and urban areas.

• In depth-experience in rural community-based development (France 2002,2003; Mexico 2000-2008, 1991-1996),
• Sound experience in project monitoring,
• Comprehensive approach of the social corporate responsibility that includes practical application and teaching.

• In depth-experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (Mexico 2016-2020),
