Abstract

The presented monograph aims to enrich knowledge and contribute both theoretically and methodologically to solving the issues of predicting the management of demanding situations in the context of managerial work. The project of the research part of the monograph is oriented towards specifying the links between social intelligence, personality traits and ways of coping with demanding situations in managerial work. In the context of identification of the predictors of successful managerial behavior, the monograph offers measures relating to the selection of people for managerial positions as well as their further preparation and training.
