Prof. Olusegun Felix Ayadi

Professor Olusegun Felix Ayadi is currently the Interim Chair of the Department of Accounting and Finance, and JPMorgan Chase Endowed Professor in the Jesse H. Jones School of Business at Texas Southern University, Houston, Texas, USA. He previously served as Interim Associate Dean of the Jesse H. Jones School of Business. He received the doctorate degree in Finance, from the University of Mississippi, and Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation from the Association for Financial Professionals, Bethesda, Maryland.  His several years of academic experience includes positions at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, LeMoyne-Owen College, Memphis, TN., Georgia Southern University, Stateboro, GA, Savannah State University, Savannah, GA, Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville, NC and Pfeiffer University, Charlotte, NC.  Professor Ayadi was selected twice as Fulbright Scholar in 2011 and 2021 and Carnegie Fellow in 2017. His research has appeared in several academic journals such as Journal of Banking and Finance, Global Finance Journal, American Business Review, International Journal of Financial Analysis and Journal of Multinational Financial Management. He has served as editor/guest editor of academic journals such as Southwestern Business Administration Journal, Managerial Finance, International Journal of Emerging Markets and Savings and Development Quarterly Review. Professor Ayadi is currently serving as Associate Editor of Journal of Economics, Management and Trade.
