Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze and explain how the ideas of motivational theories and models can be applied and used for employees’ retention in the current organizational environment. The most valuable resource for a company is its workforce. Their importance to businesses necessitates not just hiring the best personnel, but also keeping them on board for an extended length of time. The Employee Retention Connection (ERC) concept aims to improve competitive advantage and transform business culture. Retention Connection creates a custom reward and recognition system to fit the organisational culture by identifying behaviours, attitudes, and accomplishments that should be acknowledged and rewarded for contributing to the establishment of an appropriately welcoming culture. This study made an effort to demonstrate how motivational theories and models can help a business retain its employees. In order to better arm firms with the knowledge required to increase their retention capabilities, additional research in various organisational and industrial setups is required. Employee retention is a complicated topic of human resource management.
