Abstract

An organisation have four main resources, they are men, money and machinery. The first one is living one i.e. human and the other three are non-living (non-human). Hence, people are the most significant resources in an organisation. The chapter contents in the Indian context. Accordingly, the subject matter of this chapter is related to the concept of HRM, HRP, HRD, HRIS, Organisational Behaviour, IR, Compensation Management, Grievance redressed, Conflict Management, Prevention and Settlement of Dispute and other topics. It will provide basic knowledge of managing human resources in an organisation.
