Prof. Olusegun Felix Ayadi

He is the JPMorgan Chase Endowed Professor of Finance, Interim Chair of the Department of Accounting and Finance, a former Interim Associate Dean, and Interim Department Chair in the Jesse H. Jones School of Business at Texas Southern University, Houston, Texas. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Finance at the University of Lagos.  He received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Finance from The University of Mississippi. He has served as visiting professor, doctoral dissertation examiner, and external assessor to several universities and institutions, including Covenant University, University of Mauritius, Mauritius; Howard University, Washington DC., Indiana University Southeast, Indiana; African Economic Research Consortium, Nairobi, Kenya; University of Ghana Business School; Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia; American University of Madaba, Jordan; Ramkhamhaeng University, Thailand; and University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. He has served on many university governance committees.  He was elected Chair of the Faculty Senate at Fayetteville State University, NC. In 2017, He was selected as a Carnegie Visiting Fellow at the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria. He was selected as Fulbright Scholar in 2012 to Covenant University in Ota, Nigeria, and in 2021 as Fulbright Scholar posted to the University of Lagos, Nigeria. His research has appeared in several academic journals, such as the Journal of Banking and Finance, Global Finance Journal, American Business Review, International Journal of Financial Analysis, and Journal of Multinational Financial Management.
