This book, gives details on data gaps limiting, management of wildlife and environment in Uganda, required stakeholder synergies and policy interventions, research issues and hypotheses that require attention in the sector in order to achieve sustainable developments in the country. This information is in particular valuable for policy makers, practitioners, researchers, the academia, civil society and private sector whose business, work or interest depend on Uganda’s wildlife and environment. Featuring Advances in Wildlife and Environment Management in Uganda, this publication emnates from knowledge contributions and contemproray perspectives of experts from the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and the non-STEM, presented thematic on, data deficiencies, partnerships, synergies, policy and, political challenges affecting wildlife and environment managemen in Uganda by 13 speakers at the conservation conference held on 9th February 2023, at Makerere University Central Teaching Facility (CTF) 2 Auditorium. The conference was one of the national activities Uganda implemented in 2023 to mark United Nations World Wildlife Day.
