Dr. Nitya Kaushik

Dr. Nitya Kaushik joined the Chemistry Department, at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (Haryana), India as a Research Scholar in 2007. She worked under the supervision of Prof. Om Prakash Arora. Her area of research is Organic Chemistry and her topic of research is “Organohypervalent Iodine Reagents in Organic Synthesis”. She was awarded a Ph.D. degree (Chemistry) in May 2013. Prior to her doctoral studies, she completed her M.Sc. in Chemistry from Banasthali Vidyapith, Banasthali, in 2006, where she received the prestigious Gold Medal in recognition of her academic excellence. Currently, she is working as an Assistant Professor in the Chemistry Department at Mukand Lal National College, Yamuna Nagar. In addition to publishing numerous research papers and book chapters in prestigious International and National journals, she has attended and presented research papers at numerous National and International conferences and seminars.
