Abstract

The aims and objectives of the chapter are to identify the effects of Hypertriglyceridemia during pregnancy. Gestation hypertriglyceridemia is one of the rare diseases that can create sequential derangement in the lipid profiling of the  pregnant women. A young woman has been selected to examine the impact of Hypertriglyceridemia on her pregnancy. She developed Gestational hypertriglyceridemia due to presumptive obesity and diabetes which was accidentally found during cesarean section, and fortunately successful feto-maternal outcome afterwards. It is essential to screen the high-risk patient on booking for chances of developing Hypertriglyceridemia later in pregnancy to avoid all the complications.
