Abstract

Real time ultrasonographic guidance (USG) or Preprocedure scanning with USG is very useful tool for centralneuraxial block in a patients with difficult anatomical landmarks. This is because USG allows for real time visualization of anatomical structure helping to precisely locate the site for needle insertion.Having good knowledge of sonoanatomy or the interpretation of USG images is crucial for achieving successful outcomes in these procedures.
